No one knows comfort foods better than Kay. She brings some of the best flavors the Iron Range has to offer in tonight’s class. Calabrese style Italian Antipasto, Instant Pot Chicken Noodle Soup with her Italian mother’s homemade noodles, Slovenian style Sarmas, and Pizzelles, the beautifully delicate anise cookie made in an iron.

Payment must be received in order to reserve your seat. Classes tend to fill quickly, that being said we often have cancellations. If the class you are interested in is full we’ll be happy to add your name to a waiting list. Please, if you find you are unable to keep your reservation, notify us three days in advance in order to receive a full refund. We are unable to make exceptions to this policy. A 10% discount, food samples, and recipes will be provided at most classes.

Kay has been an instructor at the Blue Heron for over 25 years. Once employed as a private chef, Kay now makes her living as a nurse but still enjoys experimenting with new recipes and cooking styles.
